Tim Spisak Named Deputy Assistant Director for Minerals and Realty

Tim Spisak has been selected as the new Deputy Assistant Director  (DAD) for Minerals and Realty Management, WO-300.  Jim has been the Division Chief for Fluid Minerals in Washington, DC  since  2004.  Prior to coming to Washington, Tim worked in the BLM’s Amarillo Field Office as the Field Manager for 5 years.  He had detail 

positions in the BLM New Mexico State Office as the Acting Associate State  Director, and the Deputy Group Manager for Fluid Minerals in Washington.  Tim also 

worked for the Bureau of Mines, Helium Operations in Amarillo, Texas from  1984 to 1996 in various positions before coming to the BLM in October 1996.

Tim has a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in Business  Administration from West Texas A&M University.  He is also a BLM  Leadership Academy graduate.
