20th Anniversary of the Arizona Desert Wilderness Act & Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, and the
10th Anniversary of the Sonoran Desert National Monument and the Nat'l  Landscape Conservation System

On December 4, 2010, BLM Director Bob Abbey and Arizona BLM State Director Jim Kenna, among others, were keynote speakers at the 20th Anniversary of the Arizona Desert Wilderness Act and the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, and the 10th Anniversary of the Sonoran Desert National Monument and the National Landscape Conservation System. 

The celebration took place at the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field south of Gila Bend, Arizona.  A number of PLF members attended along with hundreds of others who enjoyed a pleasant Arizona Fall day.

The day's events included guest speakers, entertainment, over 40 exhibitors, Mormon Battalion and Anza Expedition re-enactments, a historic Wells-Fargo Stagecoach, good food, and much more.
